Welcome!
Located in North Central West Virginia, the MonValley District is one of nine districts of the West Virginia Annual Conference. Geographically the district covers Barbour, Marion, Monongalia, and Taylor Counties with parts of Harrison and Preston Counties.
The 80 pastors under appointment or assignment serve 180 churches which are aligned into 73 charges and 11 cooperative parishes. In the district are two mission projects: Scott’s Run Settlement House, Osage, and Heart and Hand House, Philippi; and two campus ministries: the Wesley Foundation at West Virginia University, Morgantown and the Wesley Foundation at Fairmont State University/Pierpont Community and Technical College, Fairmont. Hospital Chaplains serve Ruby Memorial Hospital and Fairmont General Hospital. As a district we are "Blessed to be a blessing."
